Excavators

We have been spraying excavators for many years. In addition to spraying excavators, we also treat other equipment that is used in civil engineering, such as bulldozers and shovels. Because these machines are exposed to heavy loads due to use and (weather) conditions, damage or rust formation can occur. In that case, the machine can be treated with paint systems provided with conservation standards from C2 to C5. You can also have your excavator sprayed by us for customizing or refreshing the company colours of excavators.

Working process in excavator spraying

To spray an excavator, it is first disassembled. Parts that are not sprayed along with the rest of the machine, such as windows, lamps, rubbers, etc., are removed and placed in one of the storage rooms. After disassembly, the excavator is cleaned in our washing area. Then the machine is taken to Preparation. Here, the old coating is removed with sanding machines and the parts that are not to be painted are covered with tape, paper or foil. In case of rust, we use the needle hammer. This hammer knocks off the rust on metal and leaves a smooth surface.

After the preparation process, we can spray the excavator. Before we start spraying the excavator in the company colours, an (epoxy) primer is first applied. This primer ensures that the surface does not absorb the paint and in addition, the primer also ensures that no dirt particles penetrate the finishing layer. (Epoxy) primers are transparent primers that have a very high adhesive capacity. After the primer, the coating can be applied. With the help of our mixing computer we can spray your excavator in any colour. We can also spray metallic paint. Our paint systems are of high quality and are supplied by our paint supplier AkzoNobel. After spraying the excavator, stickers can be applied according to wish as a finishing touch.

Maintenance of paint systems

After spraying the excavator it is important to give the paint systems a good regular cleaning. This prevents the protective coating from being affected and also prevents premature corrosion. On this page you can read our guidelines for cleaning paintwork on machines again.

Clientele

In addition to end users, importers such as SMT Emmeloord (supplier of Volvo and Sennebogen) and Pon (supplier of Caterpillar) are among the clientele for which we spray excavators.
