Painting telescopic cranes

At Gouweleeuw, we specialise in painting telescopic cranes, among other objects. Thanks to our large paint booths, we are able to paint telescopic cranes of any size. Telescopic cranes can be painted in any desired colour. At Gouweleeuw we paint telescopic cranes for manufacturers, importers, dealers and end users.

Method for painting telescopic cranes:

The telescopic crane is first partially disassembled. The sheet metal of the telescopic crane is prepared separately and is then sprayed in the paint shop. After disassembly, the telescopic crane is cleaned in the washing area. The crane is then sanded and the parts that should not be painted are masked. After this, the telescopic crane is coated in a primer layer and then it is painted in the desired coating. If desired, the crane can also be sprayed with a clear coat.

After this process, the telescopic crane is driven to our tailor-made paint booth for the painting work on the telescopic mast. The mast is extended part by part so that all telescopic parts are coated in a primer layer and can then be sprayed in the desired layer of paint. When the telescopic crane has been completely painted, it is assembled in the assembly department and lettering is applied if desired.

Before the crane is delivered, it is checked by the quality controller. And when the telescopic crane is completely finished, it gets a Gouweleeuw quality sticker.

In our paint shop we have already painted many different telescopic cranes, such as:

Liebherr LTM 1230-5

For our client G. O’Brien Crane Hire Ltd. from Ireland we painted a Liebherr LTM 1230-5. They put the telescopic crane on the boat to Rotterdam and we collected the crane from the port. The telescopic crane was painted in the distinctive corporate colours of G. O’Brien Crane Hire Ltd. Upon delivery we put the crane back on board ship to Ireland!

We painted a Liebherr LTM 1650-8 for our client Wagenborg Nedlift. The telescopic crane was painted in the corporate colours of Wagenborg Nedlift and in this video we share the amazing result of this 8-axle telescopic crane. Thanks to the red paintwork, this telescopic crane has become a real eye-catcher.
